How to break the cycle of negative thinking!

Service Description
I’m someone who has experienced C-PTSD, and I know what it’s like to be an intense overthinker. My mind would constantly scan for danger, and I could talk myself into believing anything if I thought about it long enough. For a long time, this was how I survived. Maybe you’ve been there too—like when someone passive-aggressively folds socks at you, or you go to bed with everything seemingly fine, only to wake up to unexpected anger. Chances are, these situations involve rumination. And if you were young when you encountered this behavior, you might have learned to ruminate in an effort to understand it. Here are some signs of rumination I’ve noticed in myself: - High levels of fear and anxiety - Constantly replaying past scenarios with thoughts like “Why did I say that?” or “I should have done this” - Fear of imperfection, leading to thoughts like “If I don’t do x, y, z, I’ll get fired” or “If I don’t do x, they’ll abandon me” - Body pain and frozen muscles Rumination can be a useful tool for deep reflection, but when we can’t turn it off, it gets in the way of enjoying life. It’s like trying to use a telescope to repair a refrigerator—overthinking isn’t always the right tool for the job. That’s why I created "Reducing Rumination," a workshop to help you understand how your thoughts are made and what they do physiologically. In this workshop, I’ll share: - The science behind how the mind and body communicate through the nervous system - Mindfulness tools I’ve found helpful for assessing thoughts - Somatic techniques to break up negative patterns If you’re ready to get out of your head and back into your body, I invite you to join me in this workshop!
